محبت تھی تم سے، وہ نفرت نہیں تھی
جو سمجھی تھی تم نے وہ حرکت نہیں تھی۔
تھا وہ غصہ وہ تھوڑا، بغاوت نہیں تھی
فکر تھی وہ جاناں، جہالت نہیں تھی
ارے ایسے تھوڑی صنم جانے دیتے
مناتے ہیں تھوڑا، ستم ڈھانے دیتے
اکڑ جاۓ دل تو دماغ آنے دیتے
جو وہ بھی نہیں تھا تو پھر جانے دیتے
یہ میخانی آنکھیں، شرابی نہیں ہیں
چمک تھی جو ان میں وہ اب کیوں نہیں ہے؟
یہ پتھر کا پتلا کدھر کھوگیا ہے؟
کہ دریا میں بھ کے سمندر گیا ہے۔
کہ تیمور تجھ سے گلا بس یہی ہے
کہ باتوں میں تیری ذرا سچ نہیں ہے۔
اگر یہ ہیں سچی تو جھوٹا زمانہ
مگر تیری باتوں کو حق کس نے جانا؟
کہ ہوجا ابھی چپ ہے تجھ پہ جوانی
جو بولے گا کچھ تو بنے گی کہانی
قتل ہوکے تو پھر کبھی نہ ملے گا۔
کہ کمزور باھو سے کب تک لڑے گا؟
کفن تیری آواز کو کھینچ لے گا
نظریہ رہے گا، بدن بس مٹے گا۔

You were loved, not hated.
What you were thinking was not my intention.
That was my anger not rebellion.
That was my concern about you not ignorance.
Don't let your beloved one go like this.
Implore your beloved one and let your beloved one oppress.
If the heart is not working , let the brain dominate.
And if its not working too, then let the story end.
These intoxicated eyes are not drunkard.
Why isn't the sparkle in these eyes as before ?
Where is this stone statue lost?
It has flowed into the river and turned into the sea.
Taimoor this is the only complaint from you.
That you don't even speak a little bit of truth.
If your words are true then world is false.
But who believes what you say?
Stay quiet yet, because you are going through your adulthood phase.
If you will say anything now, it will bring revolution.
If you are killed, then you will be lost forever.
How long will you fight with these weak arms?
The shroud will pull your voice.
Your body will disappear but your ideology will always remain.
